Mars has forever been a romantic, mysterious place. It is our closest
cosmic neighbor and sister planet. But is the human race's fascination with Mars the
symbol of something much deeper? Many people believe that Mars and Earth were once inhabit at the same time, by the same, or similar beings. That these beings built the Pyramids on Earth and Mars, that we were born out of the remains of life left behind by them, be it on purpose, or on accident. Mars is the only planet accessible to us with our current means of propulsion. It currently would take 11 months for a manned mission to reach Mars. NASA is hoping the new generation shuttle can get there in less then 6 months ! These pictures are just a few of the many brilliant pictures of the Red Planet. And even a "blue mars" for you to look at. We were eagerly awaiting the new pictures that were just taken 4/00 but so far they have been no better then the ones from a couple years ago.
