Roswell: 52 years ago, and still controversial. 1947 was a long time ago, a different time. A time when the people trusted in government, when our politicians were people to look up to not cast jokes upon. What really happened out there in that barren land? What crashed on that ranch in Corona? Well the latest and final government explanation, is that a top secret military project called "Project Mogul" went wrong. They say a large balloon used to detect nuclear testing by the Russians, crashed. Plausible enough except for one simple, obvious answer, that has been pointed out over the years. If it was a "Top Secret" project, why wasn't the government out looking for the remains of this "operation gone wrong"? Are we to believe that they were conducting, a Top Secret highly sensitive test, and when it went wrong they said "No big deal, it'll turn up somewhere"? Even if you throw out the fact that the "official" military explanation has been changed several times over the years, that little detail alone says it all. You can bet your @ss that if a "Top Secret" sensitive operation went off course, they would have been out there combing the land, non stop, until they found it. No way, no how, would they have let this discovery fall in the hands of a civilian from the general public. We all know the story about Jesse Marcel, and the fact he did come out and tell his side. Perhaps the book "The day after Roswell" co-authored by Daniel Corso, is the most important book ever written. The fact that Corso's military career was so decorated, is enough to give this book the most credibility of any Roswell book ever written. And if your reading this page, you should go read that book. The truth of the matter is, that there was a cover up, of huge proportion. We can only speculate as to how far it really went, and probably still goes. |
